Play Backgammon against Pythagoras, the math-loving Angora cat! Your goal is to move all your checkers into your home board and then bear them off before Pythagoras does.
1. The Board & Pieces
- You play as the Grey Checkers (moving counter-clockwise from point 24 down to point 1).
- Pythagoras plays as the Blonde Checkers (moving clockwise from point 1 up to point 24).
2. Movement & Hitting
- Roll the dice and move your checkers according to the numbers shown.
- You cannot land on a point occupied by 2 or more of Pythagoras' checkers.
- Landing on a single checker (a "blot") hits it, sending it to the **Bar**.
- Any checkers on the Bar must enter the game first before any other checkers can move.
3. Bearing Off
- Once all 15 of your checkers are in your home board (points 1 to 6), you can start bearing them off.
- The first player to bear off all 15 checkers wins!
